Our SLS system is the only 3DP device in today’s global market, functioning in this technology whose building chamber provides the choice of modifying its dimensions/size. Just two years after premiering the Sonda SYS. SLS 3D printer, we introduced an updated version. Every single change we have made to the device is the result of subsequent tests of the Sonda SYS. R&D department in addition to user feedback.
The convertible dimensions of the building chamber is one of the most significant change that was made. In the SL02 model, the smallest dimension available for use is 256 x 265 x 310 mm and the largest is 365 x 356 x 610. As translated into the net dimensions of the chamber, the maximum model that the SL02 building chamber can accommodate is 360 x 360 x 600 mm.
The even greater reduction of thermal losses thanks to the replacement of the printer’s structural elements and using specialized materials is another significant improvement.
Anything else new in SLS from SONDA SYS.?
Although still water-cooled Synrad, the SL02 model is equipped with power variants from 60W to even 100W.
In the SL 02 model will rely on a touch screen monitor and a metal keyboard IP65.
- 230V INPUT
One more has been included in the machine – to the IP20 installed originally in the electronics chamber for the service technician, newly added on the back of the machine is a IP55 – to power the chiller, simplifying the connection of the machine to power.
- PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS
The machine depth is shortened by over 30 cm and the height by 10 cm (currently the external dimensions of the device are 1985 mm x 1515 mm x 2160 mm) thanks to the use of a monitor flushed with the cover.

The 02 model utilizes aluminum (version 01 had steel containers). The result is a lighter version, with improved delivery and heat removal.

SLS from SONDA SYS. maintains two heaters, but in the new SL02 model the heating is much more efficient, due to the option of configuring the heater power: 1000w/each, 1500W /each, 2000W /each

Model SL 02 also includes an automatic gas valve for the building chamber. We guarantee our users greater machine tightness, reduction of thermal losses, and more efficient thermal ventilation of the container chamber. Additionally, we’ve improved powder feeding system operation (both scraper and feeder) and utilized high-density screen insulation.
