How Our SLS 3D Printing Process Works
The first thing we do is assess the time needed for your project and offer a quote based on the materials needed, a detailed description of the piece, the size, and whether or not a diagram is required. Because each project is unique, we can consult with you about the details of your SLS 3D printing requirements. We remain completely transparent throughout the process and you can count on a cost-effective introductory price, as our SLS 3D printer is the newest and most cutting-edge technology available.
How to Order a Part
You can send us a 3D sketch of the model you would like to put through our commercial 3D printer. Depending on certain elements of your project, we can complete your SLS 3D printing within approximately 1 week.
For a physical component that is broken or damaged, we can certainly help piece it together again as a new part. Your new part will function in exactly the same way as the original. We will need to construct a 3D model prior to initiating the printing process, which can result in longer process times.
Perhaps you are looking for a newly designed item in an initial production run. Simply send us the details in a 3D rendering and our team can put it through our 3D SLS printer for you. We can then deliver the final product directly to your door.
LeoSparq Ltd. makes it easy to construct the parts you need with the latest in 3D printing technology through our large format 3D printer. Contact us for the very best in commercial 3D printer solutions that can accommodate your project at an excellent price.

Selective Laser Sintering Factor
Different kinds of lasers have varying ways of inducing light, so a different factor creates the light. In a CO2 laser, the factor is a carbon dioxide cloud. In general, the construction of different lasers remains quite similar, as there is always a cylinder surrounded by the medium that shines into it.
Most SLS 3D printer producers use CO2 lasers, and we do too. That’s not because it’s cheaper than ex-fiber, but a CO2 laser is used in SLS 3D printing units because a large portion of the power created by the laser is absorbed by polyamide powder rather than bouncing off the powder surface. The light produced by these CO2 lasers (with a length of 10.6 µm) is mostly absorbed by the powder particles.
If we attempt to use it in the selective laser sintering process through an ex-fiber or LED laser, the light would, for the most part, reflect off the powder, resulting in a significant loss of power.
Durable High Stability 80 W Laser in an SLS 3D printer? Absolutely!
In SondaSYS devices, we regularly use 60 W or 80 W lasers, with an option for the customer to select a 100 W laser. To eliminate power fluctuations in this device, it features an HS (high stability) quality laser to ensure power fluctuations are minimized to less than 2%. This allows us to use a fast laser with high power output while maintaining the quality of the model surfaces similar to that of a slower and lower-powered laser. The laser’s full power is only used when for quick scans of any surface, so the unit swiftly moves the mirrors to fill that surface.
You can be certain that you will not use the full power of the 60 W or 80 W CO2 laser for your SLS 3D printer project. So even after several hundred SLS 3D printing hours, the laser will retain its full production capacity, stability, and power level to sinter high-quality models. The construction of a printout that would normally take dozens of hours will only require a few minutes of laser work with this industrial 3D printer.
What of the power?
What’s important here is the right amount of energy poured into the material. If a weak laser is installed, the energy pumped into the powder will be minimized and the entire SLS 3D printing process will take much longer. However, the result will usually be a very nice surface. So the less powerful the laser, the slower the selective laser sintering process will be. Despite the longer time required to sinter the model, these weak laser devices can produce models with excellent surfaces. Power usage is at 100% (30 W), making it much easier to maintain constant control over the power level and the stability of the selective laser sintering process.
SondaSYS SL02 is at the cutting-edge of industrial 3D printer devices. It uses the latest SLS technology (polyamide/plastic powders) developed from start to finish in Poland by a highly talented team of engineers and market experts with more than 15-years of experience in the SLS 3D printing industry and CAD/CAM services.
Unique optical solutions make SondaSYS SL02 the only SLS 3D printer in the world with the option of adjusting the build volume dimensions, making the build space smaller or larger depending on current manufacturing requirements. This feature can save significantly on powder materials, time, power usage, and general costs.
